BTC PREDICTION MACHINE · TRENCHLIGHT — START HERE
=====================================================================

What this is
A local terminal for the 15- and 5-minute "Bitcoin Up or Down" rounds
(Polymarket and similar venues): live data, a win-odds forecast, a call
system with a budget (what, how much and when to bet), an accuracy
journal, a 15-lesson course and the Trenchlight page with its tabs
(Solana · Robinhood Chain · BTC Prediction Machine · Course · Trading bot
  · Smart traders). The terminal itself runs on your computer and buys and
  sells nothing. Not financial advice.

Step 1. Node.js (once)
https://nodejs.org -> the LTS button -> open the installer and click
  through with the default options.

Step 2. Run
Mac: double-click trenchlight.command in this folder.
Windows: double-click trenchlight.bat in this folder.
A window with text opens (keep it open: that is the server) and your
browser shows http://localhost:8787/trenchlight as soon as it is ready.

macOS says "trenchlight.command Not Opened / Apple could not verify..."?
That is normal: the folder came from the internet and the script is not
Apple-signed. Do NOT click "Move to Bin".
Option A: click "Done", open Terminal, type bash and a space, drag
trenchlight.command into the Terminal window, press Enter. From the
second time on a plain double-click works.
Option B: click "Done", open System Settings -> Privacy & Security ->
scroll down to "trenchlight.command was blocked" -> "Open Anyway" ->
confirm, then double-click the file again.
If double-clicking opens the file as text: in Terminal type chmod +x
(with a space), drag the file into the window, Enter, then double-click.

Windows says "Windows protected your PC"? Click "More info" -> "Run
  anyway".

Step 3. Use
  - Terminal only: http://localhost:8787 (or start.command / start.bat)
  - Course only: http://localhost:8787/course
  - Calls: on the terminal page, top-right FORECAST card, bottom block
CALLS -> Budget $ -> "OK - start". From then on the terminal prints
"BUY ... @ price · $stake" at the right minute of each round; the
history and balance are bottom-left (FORECAST ACCURACY).
  - The "Trading bot" tab explains the optional bot that copies the calls
    onto your own Polymarket account.
  - Stop: close the server window (or Ctrl+C in it).

The first 30 seconds after start the server seeds a year of statistics;
the HISTORY panel may be empty meanwhile. The data/ folder is created on
first run (history, paper trades, journals).
